Carlisle Bowenwork Classes Forming Now

Carlisle Bowen Works will be hosting a series of educational classes to teach Bowen Therapy (Bowenwork) with owner Nancy Bittinger from May 17 through 20. This therapy from Australia has been gaining recognition in the medical world throughout the U.S. for its profound effects on pain of all kinds.

The classes are offered once a year, and accredited through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork for continuing education credits. This four-day class will be the first of three participants will need to become certified. The prerequisite for the class is possession of a license to touch clients or being in the process of attaining one.

Bittinger has been a full-time bodyworker for more than 25 years, and began her career with Bowen Therapy eight years ago. Carlisle Bowen Works has won the Cumberland County's Best Holistic Health Practice award the last two years.
