Dave Korba, publisher of Natural Awakenings magazine, Central PA edition, has appointed K.C. Wenger as assistant publisher, to support and enhance the rapid growth of the publication since its launch in March 2011.

The free, monthly magazine, which integrates high-quality national editorial and regional information focused around healthy living and a sustainable environment, has enjoyed a warm welcome in Central Pennsylvania, where the desire for this type of information and education is in high demand.

Wenger comes to the magazine with more than 20 years experience in the media agency and consumer products arenas, most recently as principal of K.C.P.R. Integrated Communications, where she created public relations-based marketing and communications programs that incorporated public, community and media relations; social media and website development; sales promotion; and print and electronic media for consumer, trade, nonprofit and government clients at local, regional and national levels.

A personal interest in healthy foods, fitness and integrative medicine led her to make the move to the publishing side of the communications arena. As assistant publisher, Wenger will share her creativity and expertise to help businesses by developing print advertising and communications programs that effectively market the value of their products and services.
