Katarzyna “Dr. Kathy” Ferraro, M.D., is board certified in both emergency medicine and integrative and holistic medicine, having trained at the Autism Research Institute and the Institute for Functional Medicine. Having a daughter with pervasive developmental delay, she has a special interest and passion for the biomedical management of children on the autism spectrum.

Frequency-specific microcurrent (FSM) is the latest service offered by Dr. Kathy and the Center for Holistic Medicine. Microcurrent is a painless technology that is extremely helpful for efficient healing of sports injuries, as well as acute and chronic pain. FSM treatments are complementary to medical acupuncture, which Dr. Kathy has also been using in her office for more than five years.

Dr. Kathy manages adult patients using an upstream functional medicine approach for chronic medical conditions. “The joy of medicine is discovering why a patient has their condition, treating the underlying causes and putting their lives back together again,” she states.
