Physical therapist, reiki master and teacher Rickie Freedman, owner of Reiki by Rickie ~ ReikiSpace & Learning Place, was a featured speaker at the Mid-Atlantic Reiki Conference on November 12 at the DoubleTree Suites in Columbia, Maryland. Her topic was From Passion to Profession—Yes You Can!, delivered to an audience of 125 reiki practitioners.

Freedman shared her personal story of progressing from full-time physical therapy to creating Harrisburg’s first reiki center, which is managed on the reiki principles of love and service. She now has 10 reiki practitioners a mentorship program called Follow Your Heart And Do It Smart, and an active classroom, workshop and event space.
