Halifax Dentistry Merging with Colonial Dental Group

Pentti Nupponen

Halifax Dentistry, owned by Dr. Pentti Nupponen, is merging with Colonial Dental Group, owned by his niece, Dr. Tammy del Sol, on January 1, 2019, at 4940 Linglestown Road, in Harrisburg. The Colonial Dental Group name will be retained for the newly combined practice.

Nupponen explains that the existing mercury-free Colonial Dental Group office is centrally located and more easily accessible for patients, with an oral surgeon and periodontist/orthodontist on staff. MYOBRACE and orthodontics services will be provided by him. There will be at least three dental hygienists, so families can be seen together for regular cleanings.

Also, the merged practice participates with many insurance programs and discounted services are provided to patients without insurance. Amish or other discounts are available if a driver is hired and more than $200 of dentistry is completed that day. Existing patients of Halifax Dentistry will have uninterrupted service at the new location.

New patients are welcome.
