Father-and-son team Ali and Ben Farahani are small business owners who understand the challenges of starting a business, especially in the field of holistic healthcare. With a desire to give back to the community and form beneficial partnerships, they created Rumi’s Wellness Center, based upon a shared office model that offers practitioners the amenities they need to operate their own practice without many of the overhead costs.

Located near Interstate 81 and Interstate 83, in Harrisburg, Rumi’s Wellness Center provides practitioners and clients with clean and comfortable rooms in a new, professional, 7,000-square-foot facility that includes ample parking and short- and long-term lease options. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant online booking system accepts online appointments and payments, and sends appointment notifications via text message or email.

The facility has different-sized rooms to meet the needs of practitioners and clients. Smaller rooms are available for individual sessions and as office space. Larger areas can be used as classrooms and for gatherings and presentations. Individual or shared space lease options are available, with a minimum three-month lease for two days per week.

Services are designed for the care of the whole person, with highly qualified practitioners dedicated to the health and well-being of each client. “Rumi’s Wellness Center is ready for use, and our individual holistic health practitioners operate in one location in an effort to provide multiple options to our community,” notes Ben. “The main thing that sets us apart is that we offer professionals all the amenities of a larger facility without the expense. We are looking to partner with practitioners in natural health fields such as acupuncture, massage therapy, reiki, yoga and other alternative care methods for a strong body, mind and spirit.”

He explains. “Our goal is put together a team of the best practitioners in Central Pennsylvania to offer alternative modalities in a centralized location. Practitioners who are interested in partnering with us are invited to apply online and schedule a tour of the facility.”
