Yogis Take the Park in New Freedom

The third annual Yogis Take the Park yoga festival, hosted by Life Thrive Yoga, will be held From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., July 23, in the wooded park behind the New Freedom Community Center and White Rose Fire Hall, featuring outdoor yoga classes and workshops for all ages from some of the best yoga teachers around. There will also be kids crafts, live music, local vendors, hula-hooping and food trucks.

Local teachers, studios, musicians, and yogis are teaming up to bring free yoga to a vast array of individuals to help highlight the wonderful yoga community in this area, as well as promote healthy living, community engagement and an opportunity to practice together.

Local yoga studios and teachers in the Southern York County, Pennsylvania area are participating in conjunction with the New Freedom Community and Recreation Center. The festival and a farmers’ market will be happening side-by-side, so attendees can come for the produce and stay for the yoga.
