Sonnewald Natural Foods will mark its 60th year beginning June 1 with the launch of two new community services, the Stoverstown Farmers’ Market and the Sonnewald Exchange, on June 6, and other festivities during the month. The Stoverstown Farmers’ Market, located at 1939 Stoverstown Road, in Spring Grove, open from June 6 through October 31, was created to meet the growing demand for locally produced food.

The Sonnewald Exchange, located inside the south building at Morningstar Marketplace, at 5309 Lincoln Highway West, in Thomasville, provides a place to freely share books. Books available for donation can be dropped off at the customer service desk at Sonnewald’s Spring Grove store prior to June 6.

Activities will continue through the fall with free Weed Walks, Farm Tours and outdoor yoga and tai chi classes on the 60-acre, chemical-free farm. There will also be visits from industry experts, product demonstrations, door prizes and specials.
