Learn How to Really Relax
Dr. Louise Hatfield and Michael Fleming, of Awakening to Presence, will conduct two workshops on Learn How To Relax—part one on September 15 and 16, and part two on October 20 and 21, at the Dixon University Center.
It is critical to our well-being to be able to quickly and effectively relax our mind and body. New advances in neuroscience and the work of self-help guru Byron Katie make it possible to relax the mind and body simultaneously because they are in reality one in the same. An open, healthy mind leads to an open, healthy body.
Hatfield says, “This is an opportunity for anyone to free themselves from stress and emotional suffering and learn how to be more loving, open and communicative, change or heal relationships, and find their true nature and inner peace.”
Hatfield received a Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993 and served on the faculty at Shippensburg University for 27 years. Fleming is the founder of the integrative program Awakening to Presence, and has facilitated more than 200 workshops on awakening in the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, and Japan.
