Doug Swenson to Offer Yoga Workshop

Just Plain Yoga, in Camp Hill, is hosting a workshop with Registered Yoga Teacher Doug Swenson from March 9 through 11 for a weekend of asana, meditation, pranayama and lecture with his unique holistic approach. Topics include Holistic Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Ashtanga with Extra Spice, Yoga Sequencing (lecture), Yoga Adjustments and Partner Yoga, Sadhana Yoga Chi (fluid power) and Avoiding and Overcoming Injury.

Swenson began his study of yoga in 1969 and has studied with many great teachers, including Dr. Ernest Wood, K. Pattabhi Jois, David Williams, Nancy Gilgoff, Ramanand Patel and others and has authored several books. Swenson’s classes are known to be invigorating and inspirational, while his supportive style of teaching and keen sense of humor sends students home with a smile on their face and a softness in their heart.
