Yoga and Mindfulness for the Whole family

The Wise Star Wellness yoga studio is dedicated to offering opportunities for yoga and mindfulness to children and families. They offer weekly classes for children of all ages, as well as yoga for children with special needs. Appointments are available for clients to schedule private or group sessions.

The physical benefits of yoga and mindfulness for children include building strength and balance; enhancing flexibility and coordination; and improving body awareness and sleep quality. Emotional benefits include improving stress response; reducing depressive or anxious feelings; improving impulse control; and increasing confidence.

Mental benefits include enhancing mental processing; increasing focus and concentration; and  improving academic performance. Social benefits include improving peer relationships; and encouraging teamwork and respect.

Family yoga affords parents the opportunity to slow down and create connection and communication with children.
