Lavender Sale and Festival at Hope Hill Farm

Troy & Wendy Jochems

Hope Hill Lavender Farm, in Schuylkill County, is open from June 11 through August 20, when owners Troy and Wendy Jochems are working the lavender fields. They will hold their annual Lavender Plant Sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 7, and their fourth annual Lavender Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 18. Complimentary lavender refreshments will be served at both events. Visitors will also enjoy the addition of three miniature Sicilian donkeys to the farm.

Hope Hill Lavender Farm is a small-scale lavender operation that produces high-quality natural products and essential oils. All aspects of lavender farming are done by hand. They cut and dry the flowers, distill the essential oil and propagate and maintain their own plants without the use of chemicals. Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
