Magali Diskus is on a mission to educate and enlighten. At Love & Light Institute, the Holistic Healing Center for Vibrational Health, she helps clients understand the level and vibration of their personal energy. “Everything we do has to do with energy and the level of vibration of energy,” says Diskus. “It’s our mission to provide services and education about vibrational health. The way your energy is vibrating determines what you project into the world.”

At the Love & Light Institute, yoga, meditation, reiki, dance and other classes allow clients to explore their energies and find the vibration-boosting practices that work best for them. “A higher vibration means more health, more joy and you being more aligned with your authentic purpose,” Diskus notes. “A lower vibration is where you find illnesses, depression and fatigue. These are all different modalities that help raise vibrations.”

Diskus, who has a master’s degree in cognitive psychology and a certificate in brain processing and higher cognitive function, is also a certified life coach. In one-on-one sessions, she’s able to determine the root cause of a client’s lowered vibration. “My sessions are a mix of psychology, life coaching and energy work,” Diskus explains. “There’s also an intuitive component; I read energies and see where people’s blocks are. Once I know exactly what people are dealing with, we know what we can start working on. That means results come very quickly. The work we do is so focused, right from the get-go, and I can help people understand and heal their energies, get rid of past experiences and heavy emotions.”

Energy vibrations aren’t limited to people. Diskus also works in homes, commercial and industrial buildings, clearing old, sometimes negative, energies. “When you clear the energy of a home, you’re getting rid of any weird vibes,” Diskus says. “Whatever happened in that space, especially if it was something bad or tense; these things leave energy behind. So when you come into a space, you subconsciously pick up on that. You can raise the vibrations of locations, making them attractive energetically to others.”

In the Institute’s new, larger space in Mechanicsburg, Diskus provides a wide offering of classes and workshops. She believes the more opportunities people have to explore their energy, the quicker they’ll be able to raise their vibration and their quality of life. “I feel like I really want to offer as many modalities as possible, so people really get a chance to get back to enjoying themselves,” Diskus says. “Are you enjoying yourself? Are you having fun? When’s the last time you sang or danced? People get lost in paying the bills, and stress, and whatever is going on in their life. There’s so much more to life than that.”
