Women’s Expos Return to Lebanon and Carlisle

Two upcoming women’s expos in Lebanon and Cumberland counties, designed to provide opportunities for women of all ages to relax, learn and rejuvenate, will be filled with exhibitors covering all facets of a woman’s life: health and wellness, beauty, fashion, leisure, nutrition and more. The second annual Lebanon County Women’s Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., October 4, at the Lebanon Expo Center. The third annual Cumberland County Women’s Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., November 8, at the Carlisle Expo Center.

A variety of demonstrations will enliven the Lebanon Women’s Expo: creating a tiled mirror frame by Home Depot; situational awareness by self-defense instructor Dom DeSantis; two health discussions led by Good Samaritan Hospital; cake decorating by Desserts, Etc.; and a fashion show by Encore Boutique. Musical entertainment will include song-and-dance performer Matt Macis and an a cappella performanceby the Greater Harrisburg Chorus.

The Cumberland County Women’s Expo will feature interior design tips from the pros at Decorating Den; cake decorating by Carlisle Bakery; a fashion show by Christopher & Banks; everyday makeup by Carmina Christina; Healthy Eating During the Holidays by Holly Doan, Giant in-store nutritionist; vocal and dance performances by Macis; and self-defense demos by De- Santis, founder of Be Safe in PA.

Both expos include numerous exhibitors for doing some early holiday shopping or to enjoy a spa treatment. A Hula-Hoop contest will be in full swing at both events, with a $100 cash prize for the winner.
