Joe Manotti and Seppi Garrett, owners of Your Garden Solution, will hold a square-foot gardening presentation at 2:30 p.m., April 12, at the PA Herb and Garden Festival, in York. Attendees will learn about the many benefits of homegrown food and how to grow more food in less space.

Manotti has been gardening for more than 25 years, with the last 10 years exclusively using the square-foot gardening method. He became a certified instructor through the Square-Foot Gardening Foundation and was taught by Mel Bartholomew, inventor of Square-Foot Gardening. Garrett has been gardening for more than 15 years and is a certified permaculture designer, helping people increase the productivity of their property while respecting the current ecosystem.

“We enjoy teaching people how to grow their own fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs,” says Manotti. “Your Garden Solution enables gardeners to grow more in less space, while saving time, water and seeds in the process.”
