Reduce Stress with Yoga




Red Head Yoga will be offering Yoga for Stress & Anxiety teacher training March 25 at the Amethyst Retreat Center. Owner Cindy Beers says, “This professional training is open to yoga teachers, counselors, teachers, teacher aids and parents! Not only are you getting the education to help yourself and others with anxiety, but you're getting the entire stress portions for free!”

The Mindful Yoga for Stress & Anxiety program teaches a mind-body practice that combines physical poses, controlled breathing, meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique and relaxation to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and lower heart rate specifically for individuals that suffer from anxiety, depression and stress. Participants will learn how stress affects the body, the triggers for teens and adults, the definitions of anxiety and holistic ways of working with individuals with anxiety, depression and stress.
