Container Gardening Workshops with Brown’s Orchards

Greenhouse experts Pam Eckard, Laura Lawicki and Terry Schetter are beginning a new series of workshops called Living Art & Container Gardens, from 11 a.m. to noon, May 15 and from 10 to 11 a.m., May 29. During these hands-on workshops, participants will learn how to repurpose funky and unique containers and make them into stunning container gardens, step-by-step.

Whether it’s a boot or a favorite planter from last year, anything can be given a new life. Brown’s experts will talk soil, light and ideal positions for participants’ containers and conditions. Attendees will learn the filler, spiller and thriller method used in container gardening.
