Free Classes for Pilates Day May 5




Absolute Pilates celebrates Pilates Day with a free community mat class on May 5 through the traditional mat Pilates flow, which includes transitions between each exercise to keep moving and shaking from start to finish. Participants will tone, sculpt, strengthen and stretch.

Allison Zang, owner of Absolute Pilates, notes, “Pilates Day is an annual, international, community event celebrated on the first Saturday of May to foster the public’s appreciation and awareness of the Pilates Method through a network of varied, innovative and high-quality grassroots Pilates events accessible are affordable for all.”

Times and locations include The Studio by Absolute Pilates at 8 a.m., 1322 Saxton Way, Mechanicsburg; Absolute Pilates Mechanicsburg at 10 a.m., 132 Walden Way, Mechanicsburg; and Absolute Pilates Harrisburg at noon, 4411 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg.
