Welcome Autumn with Wild Orange Essential Oil

Cold-pressed from the rind, doTERRA wild orange essential oil has stimulating and purifying properties that can enhance the change of seasons. Its fresh, sweet, citrus aroma may uplift energy levels of the mind and body when diffused and used as an all-purpose spray to cleanse and purify surfaces.

Wild orange essential oil may even support healthy immune function. Add a drop to water for a burst of flavor and to promote overall health. For an energizing boost, dispense one to two drops into the palm of the hand along with equal parts peppermint and frankincense. Rub the palms together and inhale deeply, then rub them on the back of the neck.

doTERRA scientists recently published a study examining certified pure therapeutic-grade essential oils in the journal Cogent Medicine. It investigated the action of wild orange essential oil in the BioMAP system, which simulates human skin cells in a compromised environment.

The study found that wild orange essential oil robustly impacted cellular health, immune response and metabolic processes. These findings are largely consistent with existing research supporting the beneficial effects of essential oils.
