Experience the Spirit of Oneness in Harrisburg

The fourth annual Spirit of Oneness wellness event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., October 4 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 5, at Zembo Shrine, in Harrisburg.

The Spirit of Oneness Holistic Expo gathers healers, energy workers, psychics, artisans and light workers from a variety of holistic and metaphysical practices under one roof to help bring mind, body and spirit into alignment. With healthy food options, peaceful music, dancers and workshops from talented practitioners throughout the weekend, Spirit of Oneness is a wonderful way to try different healing modalities.

“Spirit of Oneness is a unique opportunity to meet healing practitioners and experience many healing offerings,” says Sharon Muzio, the event’s creator and organizer. “The event is growing so much; this year, Ciocca Honda is our corporate sponsor, and they will be offering test drives of fuel-efficient vehicles during the Expo.” Andrew Gulcher, of Ciocca Honda, explains, “Buying an environmentally friendly vehicle is a good way to promote financial and environmental wellness.” Workshops throughout the weekend will provide information about Reiki, energy work, crystal healing, hospice care, weight loss, essential oils, illness prevention and much more. “This year, we have added experiential workshops, including a drum circle, spirit gallery, journey dance, qigong, sound meditation and different styles of yoga classes.”

Showing a commitment to the community, this year’s participants include The Spay Neuter Animal Assistance Program of Central PA, with a silent auction to raise funds for the spay neuter program and Central Pennsylvania service dogs; Pinnacle Health, with free blood pressure and bone density screenings; the Central PA Blood Bank, with a blood drive on Saturday; the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, providing prevention information; and Vitamin Shoppe giveaways distributed to all in attendance.

Healthy breakfast and lunch choices, including gluten-free options, will be available. Vendors include talented artisans that showcase their handcrafted artwork, jewelry and crafts, as well as those that specialize in crystals, incense, metaphysical items and essential oils. This year’s entertainment features musicians David Rose and Russell Ferrera playing Native American flutes and guitar ensembles; Edyta Hutchman, offering henna tattoos; Middle Eastern dance with the Egyptian Moon Dance Company; and caricature illustrations by Neil Illustrations.
