Spirit of Oneness Holistic Expo, presented by Alta View Wellness Center on October 1 and 2 at Scottish Rite Cathedral, features a silent auction all weekend to benefit Nobody's Cats. The 64 vendors offer holistic healing sessions, coaching, readings, body work, energy healing, sound healing, crystals, oils, jewelry, certified therapy dogs, reiki and merchandise. All are vetted to blend well and create a balanced selection of offerings. Yummy food is available for purchase, with live music both days.

 

Sharon Muzio, owner of Alta View Wellness Center and creator of Spirit of Oneness, has extensive bodywork experience, as well as practicing critical care and rehabilitative nursing since 1979. She is an aromatherapist and reiki master practitioner coupled with shamanic healing. Muzio facilitates monthly shamanic meditation circles to empower womyn of all ages and is certified in prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, facial reflexology, traditional reflexology and myofascial release and volunteers with the National Massage Board (NCBTMB) Ethics and Standards Committee.

 

Her NCBTMB-certified continuing education classes complement a private mentorship practice for holistic practitioners interested in developing their practices. She is also available for speaking engagements.

 

Eileen Strange Judy Kay, Richard LaRocco and The Soul Shepard will conduct a Psychic Trio gallery ($20 love donation requested for Nobody's Cats) from 5 to 6 p.m. October 1. The 12 free workshops include a full Earth Medicine Journey to Meet Your Crystal, a 90-minute mandala meditation to create a personal mandala and many more.

 

A 2023 Tree of Hope is being designed by Angie Yingst. Each attendee is welcome to add a leaf with their personal message of hope for the coming year. Muzio says, "There are so many opportunities to discover new offerings that are intended to help you on your path."
