in the pages of the monthly PRINT magazine.

The primary function of the event calendar is to serve our local audience by informing readers of free or low cost events that they can easily attend in their local communities.
Readers appreciate participating in local events that are open to the public. They love reading the print edition of the magazine and getting to know your business or practice through free or low-cost events that you offer.
The primary function of the event calendar is to serve our local audience by informing readers of free or low cost events that they can easily attend in their local communities.
Readers appreciate participating in local events that are open to the public. They love reading the print edition of the magazine and getting to know your business or practice through free or low-cost events that you offer.
Also, there is finite space within the print version of the magazine, so the calendar section has limited space available and is considered valuable 'real estate'. Our readers love to read the print edition and see your free and low-cost events in print.
Paid print advertisers receive a specified number of free listings in the print calendar and distribution locations receive one free calendar listing per month (which are mutually exclusive).
'Regular' print calendar listings are offered for a moderate fee of $25 per listing without a display ad in the same issue. If you are a display advertiser in the magazine and want to exceed your number of free calendar listings, the cost is $15 per extra listing.
A 'Save The Date' listing is HIGHLIGHTED in a green shaded box, which is more visible and draws more attention, and is offered for $75 per listing, or $55 with a separate display ad in the same issue.
ADVERTISERS PLEASE NOTE: The following type of events are NOT eligible to be listed for free:
(a). if the admission price of the event is more than $100 for someone to attend,
(b). if the event is located outside of our
publishing area,
(c). if an event is happening in a future month(s).
Any of these types of events can be included in the calendar as a "Save The Date' listing, for either $75 or $55.
When you fill out the submission form below, you will identify the type of event listing being submitted, as well as the 'free' or 'paid' status of the listing.
IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that any 'free' calendar listings are intended for readers to find group activities with a specific date & time and costing less than $100 to attend.
Individual or 1:1 appointments & services can be listed as follows:
(a). Under "SERVICES" in the Classified Ad section of the magazine, or
(b). As a paid Save the Date listing in the calendar section, or
(c). As a separate Display Ad within the magazine.
Events that cost more than $100 to attend must be a paid Save the Date listing to appear as an event in the calendar section (see above).
REMEMBER: You can submit an unlimited number and type of calendar events separately for FREE on the Natural Awakenings website. Just click on the CALENDAR link in the top navigation bar, then click on the green "Add Your Event" button, then create an account or access your existing account and edit your online listings directly to the website calendar.
