The Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership will sponsor the Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival on April 20 with a focus on natural, organic, healthy living for all ages. Featuring environmental community organizations, the festival raises awareness of sustainable choices available in central Pennsylvania while conducting a waste-free, environmentally friendly event.

 

Replete with live music, community environmental groups and handmade products presented in a relaxing atmosphere, this family-friendly, pet-friendly event welcomes all that care about the Earth and its inhabitants.

 

The entertainment schedule includes Jonathan Frazier at 10 a.m.; James Klippel performing as Winter Parks at 11 a.m.; the Bumbada Women Drummers at noon; Dawn Zemaitis at 1 p.m.; and the Central PA Belly Dancers at 2 p.m.
