African Drumming is a Great Stress Reliever

Yvonne Sadowy

For those with an interest in West African drumming, but can't make it to evening classes, Studio Solomon is now offering daytime drumming opportunities—Beginner Djembe and West African Drumming—and a new class called Beat D'Stress, designed for meditation and relaxation for those looking for a unique way to de-stress during lunchtime hours. Starting May 10, beginner Djembe is Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and Beat D'Stress is Wednesdays at noon.

Drumming instructor Yvonne Sadowy says, “You'll be guided in a safe space to drum away the internal clutter, release the angst and embrace you!” Studio Solomon brings culture and wellness together in many ways. Wellness is as much about the internal well-being as it is about physical fitness.
