Capstone Medical Associates has opened a new office in Palmyra. Jeffrey J. Backenstoes, D.O., combines traditional and alternative medicine to help patients achieve optimal health. He customizes treatment plans for each patient, depending on his or her needs. “Our treatment options are based on optimal health and wellness,” explains Backenstoes. “We believe in a proactive approach to wellness, rather than a reactive approach to illness.”

Capstone offers a variety of services, including adolescent and adult medicine, geriatric medicine, treatment of acute illnesses, management of chronic illnesses, immunizations, electrocardiogram (EKG) testing, customized nutritional solutions, genetic testing, genetic-based nutritional counseling and supplementation and more.

Backenstoes is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board certified in general internal medicine. The first location of Capstone Medical Associates was established in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in 2001.
