Auriculotherapy Provides Documented Results

Sep 30, 2020 07:19PM ● By Leslie Kemper Punt
In 1990, the World Health Organization announced that auriculotherapy, also known as ear seeding, is probably the most developed and best documented, scientifically, of all the micro-systems of acupuncture and is the most practical and widely used. Many think of auriculotherapy as reflexology of the ears because the ear mirrors the body as a whole being, similar to reflexology of the feet or hands.

Ear seeding works with more than 120 specific points shown to correspond to everything from physical pain to emotional imbalance. Targeting trouble areas in the body with the placement of ear seeds such as vaccaria seeds, stainless steel or 24-karat gold seeds can foster an immediate and positive change to the affected areas. The process is painless as the practitioner puts a small ear seed in place. Subjects feel only a slight pressure in the seed area as they press the seed against the ear.

Ear seeds are a safe, effective alternative and non-invasive tool to use to target trouble areas such as back pain, stress, headaches, inflammation, anxiety and much more. An affordable option that can address a large variety of conditions, they are simple to adhere and can be used in conjunction with medications, supplements or herbs without concern for contraindications or side effects. People may experience minimal pain at the seed placement point; often an indication that the point is activated and the ear seeds are working.
