Yoga Alleviates Anxiety

Dillsburg Yoga and Emily Gilmore will conduct Yoga for Anxiety, a six-week
course from 10 to 11:15 a.m. on March 5, 12, 19 and 26, and April 2 and 9
online via Zoom. Weekly topics include Establishing a Daily Practice; Working
with Anxiety & Panic; Working with Worry; Finding Your Value; Strengthening
Communication; and Developing Radiance.
Participants will journey through a journey of slowing down, tuning in, listening and moving forward with calming and grounding practices for managing anxiety. The framework for the course largely follows the practices of yoga and cognitive behavioral therapy from Julie Greiner-Ferris, LICSW, and Manjit Kaur Khalsa, Ed.D.
