Natural Awakenings South Central Pennsylvania

Share Park and Forest Adventure Videos

The Pennsylvania Parks andForests Foundation (PPFF) is ensuring a place and an experience for everyone in the outdoors. With 121 state parks, 2.2 million acres of forest, and more than 11,000 miles of trails, Pennsylvania’s parks and forests offer free access to the outdoors and endless opportunities for recreation, including hiking, biking, canoeing, climbing, rafting, simply taking a walk in the woods, picnicking, angling, hunting and much more.

Help celebrate all that parks and forests provide and encourage their stewardship by capturing video footage while engaging in the outdoors or volunteering in a state park or forest. Share it on social media, tag PPFF and include the hashtags #GetMovingPA and #GetInMotionPA.

I Love My State Parks Week runs from Mother’s Day until May 16. Include the hashtags #ILoveMyStateParks, #ILoveMyStateParksWeek, and #NASPF. PA State Parks and Forests Week is May 23 through 30. National Trails Day on June 4 is a day of service and advocacy for trails.
