This one-night workshop will help participants understand the importance of writing for specific audiences, adhering to proven search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, and creating content for different types of platforms. The goal for this workshop will be to arm participants with techniques, strategies, and tips that will improve their writing generally and their marketing copywriting specifically.

During this three-hour workshop, the participants and the presenter will discuss different types of copywriting, such as blog content, article content, social media content, and more. We will also discuss best practices for writing as they relate to SEO, copy length, grammar, voice, tone, and how to craft audience-centered communications.This class will also leave room to explore specific challenges participants may have or have had with their copywriting.

Workshop participants are also invited to submit some writing for review. Your instructor will read your work (social content, an article, ad copy) and provide feedback to help improve your copywriting skills. If you plan to submit work for review, you will have until Friday, October 8th to do so. Contact info for your instructor will be provided upon registration. The format for this workshop is discussion-style, so participants are asked to come prepared to ask questions and engage with the class and presenter.
