The Massage Therapy Practitioner and Pharmacy Technician programs at YTI Career Institute-Capital Region will offer career workshops focused on health and wellness from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 20, at the YTI Career Institute-Capital Region Campus.

These workshops are perfect for anyone considering a career as a massage therapist or pharmacy technician. Participants will meet key staff members and get an introduction to the campus. YTI offers a diploma in Massage Therapy Practitioner and Pharmacy Technician.

The Massage Therapy workshop will include a session entitled, Does Your Nose Know? Mainstream Essential Oils and Their Hidden Uses. Participants will enjoy a complimentary chair massage and learn several techniques.

In the Pharmacy Technician workshop, participants will compound their own Shea butter Chapstick and fill their own unit-dose medication packs with candy. The workshop will also teach participants how to read a doctor’s prescription.
