Charles Eisenstein, a noted speaker and writer on the topic of rethinking the economy, will speak at 2 p.m., June 16, at Otterbein United Method Church, in York. Sponsored by Transition York PA, the discussion will help those in attendance find opportunity to transition to a more connected and ecologically sustainable way of being.

The author of Sacred Economics, Eisenstein focuses on themes of civilization, consciousness, money and human cultural evolution. Drawing on his own experience as well as extensive study of social and economic cultural history, his presentations are profound and thought provoking.
