Unique Restaurant Opens at Emporium

The SubWich and Soup Base and Breakfast Place, a unique small restaurant serving fresh, natural, organic subs, soups, sandwiches, salads and breakfast, has opened at the Palmyra Real Food Emporium, at 707 East Broad Street, in Palmyra.

Owner of the Emporium, Tom Maurer, says that local products are used whenever possible and all of the food is prepared with fresh, natural, sustainable pesticide- and hormone-free products. Organic, rBGH-free meats and organic produce and grains are used, as well as wild-caught seafood. In addition, all sandwiches, subs salads and breakfast items are made to order, and a minimum of three different soups are created daily. Gluten-free products are also served.
