The PA Energy Store, a new retail store offering energy-saving products for the home, is celebrating its grand opening in Lemoyne throughout March. The store offers a variety of do-it-yourself energy-savers, such as chimney balloons, compact fluorescent lamps, faucet aerators and more. In addition to the store’s retail products, a showroom features larger items like solar panels, solar tanks, spray foam insulation and retractable awnings that can be installed by the store’s partners.
Also on display are an operating photovoltaic solar system on the roof; a solar hot water system that generates hot water for the store; and a co-generation heating system that uses the heat from a generator to heat the building. Future plans include a training center, offering homeowners the opportunity to learn how to save energy in their homes.
“Our services will help empower homeowners to control their energy usage and limit their carbon footprint,” says Manager Ryan Stevenson. “The low-cost items quickly pay for themselves in energy savings.” In addition, he notes that the store offers a local place where consumers can educate themselves about energy-saving solutions in a non-intimidating environment.
Location: 310 S. 10th St., Lemoyne 17043. For more info, call 888-777-8283 or visit PAEnergyStore.com.
