To help take the guesswork out of determining which nutritional supplements to take, Total Health Ministries now utilizes ZYTO technology equipment when consulting with clients.

Owners Daisy Hawkins, a doctor of naturopathy, and Cheryl Hawkins, a certified natural health practitioner, say the equipment measures what nutrients the body prefers by means of a tool that records and analyzes fluctuations in the energy patterns of the skin. The primary feedback mechanism is an individual’s Galvanic Skin Response, or GSR, commonly used as a marker for stress.

During the process, called bio-survey, the client places their hand on a hand cradle and the ZYTO software sends stimuli to the body using digital signatures representative of various alternatives, such as nutritional supplements. Each stimulus creates a unique GSR response that the ZYTO software measures and analyzes, and each response indicates a biological preference for the item assessed.
