The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork(NCBTMB) has approved Rickie Freedman, owner of Reiki by Rickie, as a provider to offer continuing education (CE) credits to massage therapists taking all levels of her Reiki classes.

Freedman offers classes in Reiki I, II, IIIA and IIIB. In Reiki I, students learn self-healing and the skills to utilize Reiki energy to begin healing others immediately. Reiki II helps students enhance their skills and selfconfidence, learn to heal on the underlying mental/emotional level and add techniques for distance healing.

Reiki IIIA is a master/practitioner level, in which students begin to incorporate the Reiki healing principles into their own life and work, becoming fully comfortable sharing Reiki sessions and talking about Reiki with clients and other healthcare professionals.

Freedman says participants will be ready to conduct an Introduction to Reiki workshop after this class. After taking Reiki IIIB, students will be able to begin teaching Reiki. Upon completion of each level, students receive their attunement, manual, certificate and CE credits for that particular level.

Freedman is a Reiki master/teacher and physical therapist whose focus is integrative medicine. She has been practicing and teaching Reiki for more than a decade.
