Keystone Yoga Celebrates Grand Opening

A new yoga fusion studio, Keystone Yoga, LLC, has opened in Harrisburg, offering group, private and specialty yoga fusion classes. To celebrate, the studio is offering a special rate of $5 for the first class.

According to owner Joanne Gallagher, the studio takes a unique approach to yoga. “We were tired of hearing how hard and intimidating it was to decipher which class was best for the student—kundalini, ashtanga, power, restorative, vinyasa or yin, to name a few,” she explains. “We’ve taken the best of all of these, ‘fused’ them together, and named our classes intuitively after nature.” For example, morning class is Sun, Moon is a quiet evening class, Fire is hot yoga and Earth is core strength on the mat.

The studio offers group classes suitable for all levels at a variety of times, seven days a week. “Our unique series of postures are a combination of technique and approach, directing you into your body to awaken your health, vitality, mind and spirit,” says Gallagher. “You will reduce stress, increase strength, improve flexibility, balance the weight of your body and improve the quality of your life.”

In the spirit of giving back to community, Keystone Yoga hosts a Sunday class at 11 a.m., where students donate whatever they can, and all proceeds go to the Harrisburg Humane Society.
