Master Gardeners Hosts Third Annual Garden Tour

From 12 to 5 p.m., June 12, Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County will host At Home in the Garden, the third annual tour of the lush private gardens in the Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg and Enola areas.

The garden tour acts as both education and inspiration for novice and expert gardeners alike. Each garden presents a unique theme, including a Monarch way station, a wetland garden, a scheme designed for low maintenance, an Asian-influenced retreat, a shared creekside backyard, a home orchard and a collection of dwarf conifers.

In addition, Highland Gardens, in Camp Hill, will give savings coupons and a free plant to every ticket holder who stops by the store during the tour. Several will win special gift baskets, put together by the gardening specialists at Highland Gardens. Tickets cost $8.00 in advance.
