Seven regional organizations joined the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce and premier sponsor Fresco Green Building Supplies to present Lebanon Valley’s first Green Expo, on May 6, for 270 local, middle and high school students from six different school districts. Held on the Lebanon HACC campus, the Expo welcomed 26 vendors and nonprofits in green industries—ranging from organic food production to alternative energy technologies—each showcasing potential future careers for students in the emerging fields of clean technology and green business.

Vendors spent time with groups of 12 to 15 students, explaining their job, the specialty and field in which they work, and potential careers for students. The Chamber also held an evening event to showcase the successful collaborative effort.
