Gluten-free Menu at the Wild Tomato
The Wild Tomato Pizzeria and Catering, which opened earlier this year, offers tasty options for those suffering from wheat allergies— gluten-free alternatives are available for 97 percent of the restaurant’s menu. The pizzeria is happy to accommodate not only individuals with gluten intolerance, but those with other food allergies, as well.
Recognized by the Gluten Intolerance Group of Pennsylvania (GIG) and participants in the Gluten Free Restaurant Awareness Program (GFRAP), the pizzeria offers hoagies and grinders on a soft, gluten-free sub roll and gluten-free specialty pizzas such as the Spicy Amber, covered in Italian sausage and painted with spicy red pepper oil.
The Wild Tomato Pizzeria is family owned and operated by Chef Paul Francis, who has over 20 years of restaurant, catering and culinary business experience, and his brother-in-law, Chris DiNatale. The owners are committed to purchasing premium-quality ingredients from local sources and to incorporating wholesome, natural ingredients. Their social mission is to show a deep respect for human beings inside and outside their company and for the community in which they live.
