The Wild Tomato Pizzeria and Catering, which opened earlier this year, offers tasty options for those suffering from wheat allergies— gluten-free alternatives are available for 97 percent of the restaurant’s menu. Recognized by the Gluten Intolerance Group of Pennsylvania (GIG) and participants in the Gluten Free Restaurant Awareness Program (GFRAP), the pizzeria offers hoagies and grinders on a soft, gluten-free sub roll and gluten-free specialty pizzas such as the Spicy Amber, covered in Italian sausage and painted with spicy red pepper oil.
