Palmyra Real Food Emporium Starts CSA for Herbs

Tom Maurer

The Palmyra Real Food Emporium has begun a community supported agriculture (CSA) group intended to run through the summer that will give individuals unlimited access to their herb garden for personal use. Shoppers are invited to sign up for this unique opportunity at a cost of $50 per season.

Owner Tom Maurer says, “Fresh herbs and teas add an additional dimension to your quest for quality food. The opportunity to pick our herbs gives you access to truly fresh items when you need them”

In addition to the herb garden, the Emporium brings local, farm fresh food and specialty products to residents of Lebanon, Lancaster, Dauphin and surrounding counties. All products are organic, grass-fed, free-range and/or chemical/hormone-free. Many items are gluten-free. All fresh items are produced within a 30-mile radius of the Emporium (except citrus and bananas) and the location serves as home to Bee’s Juice Bar, which proides healthy meals in a glass, sourced from local, organic ingredients.

Location: 707 E. Broad St., Palmyra, PA. For more information, call 717-383-0028 or visit PalmyraRealFood.com.
