Inaugural GreenCon Expo Held at Messiah College

The first Central Pennsylvania Green Building Conference & Expo was held on March 15, at Messiah College, presented by the Central Pennsylvania chapter of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), featuring opportunities to learn and network among representatives from leading green companies from around the country. The keynote address was given by George Bandy, USGBC Board of Directors member and vice president for sustainability strategy and diversity at Interface Americas.

The Mission of the USGBC Central Pennsylvania Chapter is to promote environmentally responsible design, planning, construction and operation of the built environment through education, outreach and networking. Their vision is green buildings for all. Membership is open to anyone who supports this mission and vision.
