Yoga to Benefit St. Jude

Just Plain Yoga staff

Join Just Plain Yoga from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., May 12 for an open house and a day filled with yoga, meditation, a raffle, food and fun—all to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All instructors and co-sponsors are donating their time, talents and resources to give participants a day to learn, re-energize, relax and enjoy.

Guests will have the opportunity to try out 12 different yoga classes and a West African dance class; learn about bodywork, nutrition, yoga and meditation; and sample healthy food throughout the day prepared by Chef Kellie Tikkun, owner of Mandala Meals. The evening will close with Dances for Universal Peace. Each event will be by donation.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital opened on February 4, 1962, with a mission to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. The support of the public helps to ensure that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will continue its lifesaving mission of finding cures and saving children.

Location: 1845 Market St. and 19th St., Camp Hill. Those unable to attend can still help. For details, call 717-975-9642 or visit JustPlainYoga.com. For more information about St. Jude, visit StJude.org.
