Om Baby Pregnancy & Parenting Center was a gold sponsor of the Safe Motherhood Quilt Project display, rally and fundraiser, recently held in Harrisburg, featuring internationally renowned midwife, author and creator of The Safe Motherhood Quilt Project, Ina May Gaskin. This national initiative honors women that have died of pregnancy-related causes since 1982. The quilts draw public attention to the America’s rising maternal death rates and underreporting of maternal deaths.
Om Baby is an independently owned pregnancy, childbirth and parenting center that supports women and their families through the childbearing years and beyond through a wide array of workshops including yoga instruction for prenatal, couples, children and babies; natural family living; nutrition and health topics; childbirth education; children's classes; and other parenting topics and support groups.
