Nichols Earns GPACT Certification

Liesl Nichols

Liesl Nichols, Nichols, sole proprietor of ColoniClinic & Healing Arts, in Lewisberry, has earned certification by the Global Professional Association for Colon Therapy (GPACT). She is the only person in York/Adams County to be GPACT certified and one of only five GPACT certified colon hydrotherapists in the state of Pennsylvania.

At ColoniClinic, the signature service is colon hydrotherapy with a state-of-the-art open system colonic device called the LIBBE. The device employs both carbon and ultraviolet filters, purifying the water of bacteria, as well as other harmful chemicals and pollutants. An additional filtration system, which removes chloramines, is utilized prior to the colonic device. According to Nichols, all other colonic equipment manufactured to date is unable to eliminate chloramines with the basic carbon filtration, a very important factor in colon health.

“This proactive step for extra filtration goes beyond FDA regulations for a class II colonic irrigation system, thus you can be assured of the utmost purity of the water,” says Nichols. “This is the same filtration media used by dialysis centers to eliminate chloramines and other toxins.”
