Aug 28, 2012 05:48PM

Tickle My Senses Gallery, in New Cumberland, will hold a grand opening and open house, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., September 8, at its new location at 315 Bridge Street, in New Cumberland. The festivities will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by Mayor D.J. Landis, followed by live music from Hemlock Hollow. Prior to the event, patrons can enter to win a bowl by Flambeaux Art Pottery with each $20 purchase made at the gallery. The drawing will be held during the open house.

The national award-winning gallery, which specializes in representing American artisans, offers shoppers a unique and fun purchasing experience. All products are domestically crafted, with many one-of-a kind items signed by the artist. Collections include ceramics, glass, wood, metals, mixed media and jewelry. Tickle my Senses has been recognized by NICHE magazine as their 2006 and 2007 Top Retailer Award finalist, as voted by artisans across the country.

The gallery hosts monthly artisan demonstrations and Uncork Your Creativity classes taught by local artisans. The classes offer an evening of cheese, wine and art, and include making perfume with essential oils and wire wrapping a pendant.
