Internal Cleansing Begins at ColoniClinic & Healing Arts

At ColoniClinic & Healing Arts, in Lewisberry, owner Liesl Nichols—one of only five colon hydrotherapists certified by the Global Professional Association for Colon Therapy in the state of Pennsylvania—specializes in colon hydrotherapy, also known as a high enema or colonic, using a state-of-the-art open system colonic device called the LIBBE. The device employs both carbon and ultraviolet filters, purifying the water of bacteria, harmful chemicals and pollutants.

“The whole purpose of colon and internal cleansing is to free the body to achieve inner harmony and balance and to clear out the toxins and accumulated wastes that are dragging you down,” Nichols explains. “Colon hydrotherapy is the first step on the road to health.”

Although many individuals maintain a healthy regimen of diet and exercise, she notes that most are not aware that regular colon hydrotherapy and internal cleansing can help prevent degenerative disease. “The large intestine (colon) tends to accumulate toxins due to poor eating habits, lack of exercise, stress and emotional trauma,” Nichols explains. “Reabsorption of these toxins into the bloodstream can set a foothold for disease.” Colon cleansing allows for a cleaner bloodstream, improved digestion and elimination, greater vitality and better assimilation of vital nutrients. It is the intestinal system that must be cared for first before any effective healing can take place.
