The I. O. Silver Foundation will host the annual Hearts in Style and Song fashion show and musical extravaganza to benefit the Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute, beginning at 10 a.m., October 12, at The Hotel Hershey, in Hershey.

Formed to honor of I. O. Silver, a prominent local family physician who was a victim of cardiovascular disease, the foundation’s purpose is to honor his life, build community awareness of cardiovascular disease and help fund the Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI). The Institute’s team of expert physicians and staff are devoted to educating the community about nutrition, physical activity and stress management, in an effort to extend longevity and improve the quality of life.
