Old Crow Natural Skin Care and Studio of Esthetics, dedicated to providing clients with all-natural and safe skincare products and treatments at affordable prices, has opened at 511 Bridge Street, Suite 105, in New Cumberland.

A licensed esthetician since 1994, founder Karen Shaffer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Realizing that some of the ingredients used in skincare could compromise her health, she began experimenting and developing her own safe and natural moisturizers, toners, scrubs and lip balms. Now, she offers a wide variety of additional products designed to “keep it real,” including deodorant, an exfoliating body bar, cleansing bar, natural lip scrub and others that contain no parabens, artificial fragrance, artificial preservatives or dyes.
