Brain Balance Hosts Informational Lecture

Dr. Chris Turnpaugh

Dr. Chris Turnpaugh, owner of Brain Balance of Mechanicsburg, will educate parents and community members about the Brain Balance Program during an open informational lecture from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., January 16. Turnpaugh will discuss the components that make the program’s drug-free, non-medical approach so successful for students struggling with a variety of social, behavioral and academic issues. He will explain a common imbalance of the brain, Functional Disconnection Syndrome, that commonly exists in these children and how the Brain Balance Program can help, and he will help to identify children that are appropriate for the program.

“Today, more and more parents are dealing with challenging behaviors with their children, including learning disabilities, social issues and neurobehavioral disorders,” says Turnpaugh. “Many parents feel there is little hope in treating these issues and helping their child to lead a healthy and happy life free of medication. Brain Balance of Mechanicsburg can help these children and their families, and we want to share this information with the public. There is hope in addressing the root of the problem and promoting healthy development and growth in our children.”
