Brain Balance Hosts Information Session

Chris Turnpaugh

Dr. Chris Turnpaugh, owner of Brain Balance of Mechanicsburg, will discuss the origin of learning disabilities and how the Brain Balance Program can help students achieve success, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., February 13.

“Learning disabilities are often misunderstood and rarely treated,” says Turnpaugh. “Educators are typically trained to work with students’ strengths and make accommodations for their weaknesses in order to have students be successful in the classroom. Although accommodations are helpful to the student academically, the true problem is rarely improved upon and thus, never fixed. As a result, learning disabilities continue to create challenges for students when transitioning into the real world. The Brain Balance Program focuses on the origin of learning disabilities. We address the weaknesses and provide our students with the solution they need to overcome such challenges.”
